Hopefully the first saignee sponsored event, more of a test than anything, and not the last.
Wine chosen and food cooked by Cory, music mixed by Chris, movie made by Michelangelo Antonioni, projected onto the wall outside my apartment until the rain rendered the picture unwatchable.

The wine was Italian, for the most part.

Except for the exceptions.
Note: Not all exceptions
The more i drink lambrusco the more i wonder why i am not drinking more.

The more i drink sparkling moscato the more i wonder why you are not drinking more of it.

Herbie Hancock did the score for Blow Up when he was only 26

Eric Asimov says tasting notes are tyrannical, so i will use that as an excuse not to post any.

About this post:

I cooked for 12 people
Chris’s mix contains no music from Blow-Up itself, but is still good stuff.
We had 9 bottles of wine
Wines of the night: 2006 Poggiarellino Rosso di Montalcino, 2006 Gatti Piero Piemonte Moscato
What the fuck wine of the night: 2003 Geyser Peak Shiraz Sparkling. Seriously i have no idea about this wine. 14 percent, big muscular, almost no residual sugar, but sparkling.
Pounds of chard i bought too many: Like 4
Bottles of lambrusco i bought too few: At least 1
Hours late we were compared to our well put together schedule: 1.5
Vegan vs. non-vegan dishes: 5::2
I’m clinically incapable of taking pasta fazool seriously because of the name.
