Sure we tend to talk a lot about European natural wines here, but if you’re wondering what the hell is going on here in the States you owe it to yourself to check this out.
Terroir Natural Wine Merchant will be hosting four natural winemakers from the East Bay Saturday June 12th from 4-8 PM. The featured wineries will be Edmunds St. John, Donkey and Goat, Broc Cellars and Dashe Cellars. These are all winemakers working locally who have rejected the big industrial winemaking techniques as well as the small scale hyper-garagiste style of winemaking that produces oaked monstrosities in favor of letting the wine do the talking (with some excellent results). There will be 15 wines poured and the cost is $30.
